Our mission is to improve quality of life
for youth in high needs areas through
effective nutrition, arts, literacy, and
food distribution programs.
Sierra Dove Global Association is an educational/non-profit organization, which was
incorporated and designated 501 ( c ) 3 in October 2002.
Our vision is to provide the highest possible quality of enrichment services, in the context of a program that serves the whole child and fosters youth empowerment through creative, life affirming activities.
Sierra Dove has received both state and national awards for Eating SmART,
including a gold level award from FRAC in Washington, D.C. Our program has been
given the honor of serving as a model for best practices in summer food programming
by the New Mexico Collaboration to End Hunger.
The Mescalero Apache Boys and Girls Club, in partnership with Sierra Dove Global
Association, will receive a "Gold Level" Award of Excellence Tuesday.
The award comes from the Washington, D.C. - based Food Research and Action

In March 2009, Sierra Dove received a federal capacity building grant, with funding and technical assistance allocated through Help New Mexico. The funds

Computers for kids program begins
Beginning in September 2009, Sierra Dove Inc., and
the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Posse, both area non-profit organizations will come
together with Ruidoso Computer Genie to provide refurbished computers for youth in
the high needs areas in our community....More
